Patch 0.2 "Free the Rescources"
First update to Tiny Island has both minor and major changes.
And while the features in of them self are not that impressive, for me, learning how to impleament it all, then this is a big one!
New playmode added!
A new playmode called "Free Play" have been added. In Free Play the terrain is auto generated and the terraforming tolls have been disabled. Rescources tiles now produces rescources when the approrpiate building is concstruced on it. Buildings also has a build cost assosciated with it.

Other changes:
- Auto generate Islands.
In Sandbox mode, use the Spawn Islands to quickly create a random layout of islands. - UI changes
In the Free Play mode, UI for displaying resouces has been added.
Button will now also change when the action is not avaliable. - Changes to the controles.
Rotate camera moved to middle mouse button and right mouse button now close all menus.
Having rotate camera and close menus on the same button was a pure oversight on my part. - Boarder clouds changed.
The clouds bordering the grid has been changed to be less intrustive.
I was not happy with how it looked and it also blocked the view of tiles, so I leaned more into the fog effect by making it more prominent and removeing the cloud objects. - Load screen.
Loading screen added for when loading into the game from the main menu.
Not that relevent right now as the load time is very short - But as more things get added and load times may incresse, then it's already implemented.
Ideas for patch 0.3
First of all I need to look into a save system while the things to track is still few.
I also want to add some more interactions with the water, so it's not just a big empty space. So I want to add Ships/Trade Routes, which ties into the other thing I want to add; Some sort of adjecency/conectivity requirement for buildings. Buildings needs to be connected to a city before you can access the rescource. Roads and adjecentcy will be one way of connecting tiles, and ships will be another.
I may also add rivers, but that's a lower on the priotity list.
